Jessica Hoffman

Jessica started her career in music as a concert pianist at age 10, found song writing at age 13 and discovered jazz at 17. A lifelong love for music has kept her writing songs despite pursuing a career in public relations and marketing. After founding NYU’s environmental group Earth Matters with her friends in 1989, Jessica has spent the last 15 years as an armchair environmentalist… My Changing Planet is her mid-life debut as a tree-hugger.

Jennifer Marks

Originally from Long Island, Jennifer Marks gave up her addiction to big hair and strip malls and moved to NYC. She learned how to say coffee without the ‘aw’ and how to play the guitar. She signed her first publishing deal with Windswept Pacific in 1999 and after being asked enough times, “Who is that singing on your demos?” was convinced she should make her own albums. She went at it alone releasing three CDs, Pizza, My Name’s Not Red, and It Turned Me On, before testing the waters as a national touring artist supporting her last CD, Jennifer Marks on the roster of an indie startup label. When her good-natured melodies caught the ears of pop icon Cyndi Lauper she was offered the opening slot on Lauper's At Last tour. Her songs have been licensed by companies such as Starbucks, Mattel, DreamWorks and Maybelline and can also be heard on soundtracks, in films and on network TV.

Maya Churi

As a writer and producer Maya has been creating dynamic and compelling experiences across media platforms for over ten years. Her work has screened at venues around the world including the Sundance Film Festival, the Walker Art Center and Seoul Net Fest in Korea. She has been awarded grants by the Creative Capital Foundation, New York State Council on the Arts and the Jerome Foundation.

Though she used to skip through the house as a child singing the latest musicals she never thought she'd one day make an album. And if someone would have told her that when she went to the 20th anniversary celebration of Earth Day in New York City with Jessica back in 1990 that they'd be making this album together - she never would have believed them. Now, as an adult, she skips through her house singing the songs on the album (kids in tow) and relishes the moments that led her here.
