Turn off all those lights please
Money doesn’t grow on trees
Remember how the light gets here
Hours and hours of work my dear
Deep in the desert, dark as night
They don’t have the luxury of light
Even though you’re fortunate
Please don’t take advantage of it
Do not let the water run
Run so long we’re left with none
You don’t always have to flush
But every night teeth must be brushed
So many things can be re-used
Don’t give the garbage man the blues
Please don’t use more than you need
We don’t want garbage floating in our seas
I may sound a little stern
But these are lessons you must learn
Even though you’re fortunate
Do not take advantage of it
